COVID19

Artful Leadership

The reliability of our people and the continued success of our projects in the best interest of our customers, investors and partners guides our every move in any site, during this unprecedented times and due to this COVID-19 pandemic, BUSLAM has taking the necessary steps to ensure that our environments are kept free from any incidents and we are ensuring we are doing our part in the fight against COVID-19. We will continue to implement and go above and beyond in our diverse structure of services to continue to grow and strengthen the safety of all our employees, clients, investors, and partners.

At Our Project Sites

a. Safety logs are required for all construction sites with 8 or more workers. This will be done using the Self Screening Form Attached.
b. All employees are to be tested daily before entering the site.
c. The log is to be kept on-site and available for Building Department inspection.
d. The use of a protective mask is mandatory.
e. Construction superintendents (site- supervisors) will verify that social distancing is being maintained. Distancing of 6 feet is to be maintained at all times, if this distancing must be violated then a mask must be worn at all times, this distancing will be violated only if absolutely necessary to perform safety tasks.
f. Hand washing stations are required at construction sites.
g. No more than 10 workers in a room or area.
h. Gloves or hand protection is mandatory.
i. Continuous disinfecting of toilet facilities are to be conducted as needed.
j. Continues site cleaning through out the day and at the end of the day is to be conducted.
k. All persons entering the site must check in at the front gate and undergo the COVID-19 questionnaire.
l. No lunch trucks are allowed onsite.
m. No congregation of people is allowed during lunch hours, or at any other time.
n. Should any individual show signs of any sickness whatsoever, they shall be sent home and requested to bring a negative COVID-19 Test or remain home for at least 14 Days of quarantine.
o. A Site Safety meeting specific to COVID-19 must be conducted daily to touch on all items above. This Meeting will be conducted as per the site safety form attached.

At Our Offices

a. Safety logs are for all office sites.
b. All employees and visitors are to be tested daily before entering the office.
c. The log is to be kept on-site and available for supervisor inspections.
d. The use of a protective mask is mandatory.
e. All desks will be separated and isolated by acrylic divisors.
f. Workers are required to wash their hands constantly, there will be handsanitizing stations available throughout the office.
g. No more than 10 workers in a room or area unless absolutely necessary.
h. Continuous disinfecting of toilet facilities is to be conducted as needed.
i. Continuous office cleaning throughout the day and at the end of the day is to be conducted.
j. All persons entering the office must check in at the front desk and undergo the COVID-19 questionnaire.
k. No less than 6 feet distancing during lunch and other breaks.
l. No congregation of people is allowed during lunch hours, or at any other time.
m. Should any individual show signs of any sickness whatsoever, they shall be sent home and requested to bring a negative COVID-19 Test or remain home for at least 14 Days of quarantine.
n. Disinfectant foggers are used in the office throughout the week.

At Our Opperated Partner Facilities

a. Disinfectant foggers used in each room prior to guest arrival, using the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the CDC & WHO
b. UV light sanitizer for key card sterilization
c. Acrylic guards at front guest
d. Mandatory personal protective equipment for employees, including masks & gloves
e. Social distance markers for floors in elevators & public spaces
f. Daily monitoring of employee health through temperature checks and health logs
g. Sanitizing gel in lobby
h. Soap station at pool showers
i. Contactless payment
j. Increased frequency of cleaning & disinfecting throughout the hotel
k. Training of employees according to CDC protocols
l. Reinforcement of personal hygiene, proper hand-washing & use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers
m. Increased communication with our partners & government public health agencies
